Best Herbs For Relieving Anxiety?

I suffer from anxiety, and I refuse to take prescription drugs. Any advice on what is the most powerful anti anxiety herb? Note: I’m not depressed, just anxious.

There are some natural remedies that can help you reduce stress, like tea from valerian root, St John’s wort or basil. For some, it works as soon as you start to drink it (works for me that way), but some need to drink it at least a few days before they start feeling better and more relaxed.

Spinal Tap Showed Elevated WBC’s, But Never Found Out The Cause. Can Stress Or Panic Attacks Cause This?

I had the spinal tap because I was brought to the ER with sudden headache, dizziness, and feelings like I was going to pass out. In the weeks following, I had these episodes numerous times and I was eventually diagnosed with panic attacks. The thing that bugs me is the reason for the increased WBC’s in my CSF was never determined. Wondering if the panic attack/stress could have caused this.

I wish I could have an anwser for you, I just had a spinal tap done last night. I myself am trying to find more information about the symptoms I will be experiencing over the next few days. I’m not so sure that stress or your panic attack would have an impact on your situation. I myself, last night, was very stressed and they had a difficult time getting my pulse rate down. However, I’m not a doctor, so I strongly urge you to contact your physican to see what’s going on. Hope everything turns out ok for you!!!
