I’m sure panic & anxiety begin in the mind and go much farther than that. I’m trying to get some clarity about the essential differences between the two, and if changes to your diet can begin the treatment process.

Panic attack is a short-term response to fear (which may or may not recur at regular times) while an anxiety disorder is a longer term problem that is chronic in nature.

You have most likely heard that you are what you eat. This is true when it comes to controlling your anxiety and depression. A lot of people can feel depressed because of the things they consume in there diet. If you are eating foods laden with fat, sugar and other non healthy substances, stop and start eating healthier. You may see a change in your mood just by eating the right foods. One of the problems that many people today face is that they do not eat healthy foods. They tend to eat foods that are high in sugars and fats. Sugar offers no nutritional value whatsoever and hangs around to become fat but at the same time will give you a mood boost. A diet that is filled with nutrients and vitamins is what you are better off eating, vitamin B’s especially.
