heart problems?? 26 yr old male, exhaustion and panic?
so i played football all my life till i was 20, and i do concrete for a living, so during summer i am in really good shape..
i have had incidents of panic attacks, but havent had one for quite some time now…
i recently started a new workout regimen, and am in the second week of it….after finishing a pretty tough workout, i was incredibly exhausted, barely able to stand up…. sat down, ate a banana, and drank some water…suddenly i had an extreme panic feeling like i was going to pass out at the same time….
it passed after about a minute, and i calmed down again… i have been checked with ekg and blood work many times, and always told i am clean bill of health…
so why the sudden exhaustion and panic?? if anyone has any ideas, let me know… btw im 5 9 175 lbs, no medical history besides the panic attacks…
Your extreme exhaustion/panic sends off alarms for seizure activity, especially since you feel as if you are going to pass out. If there is dizziness involved, I will go even further and say its neurological.
If you’ve had your blood work done, your thyroid panel should be fine, as well as blood sugar. If you are concerned about your blood sugar than you can pick up a Glucometer from your local pharmacy for about 10.00, strips are $.
I also feel that if its not neurological, it definately has to do with anxiety. Anxiety can mimick OR mask many disease processes. Ive experienced first hand in the medical field that once a pt says ‘i have anxiety’ or ‘i have panic attacks’ the case will more so become..oh, well they are anxious so thats why ….etc.’ Are you taking any meds? If you have anxiety its always good to go and talk to someone.
